The space

Casa Island Life is a curated collection of modern-boho coastal apartments located just steps from the beaches of San Juan.

Each unit is uniquely designed but shares the same signature aesthetic: warm woods, rattan textures, airy white interiors, lush greenery, and tropical touches inspired by Puerto Rico’s natural beauty.

BAMBOO BREEZE

Escape to Island Life – Bamboo Breeze, a sunlit 2-bedroom apartment on the second floor of our boutique Island Life property. Designed with warm bamboo elements, woven textures, and an open, breezy layout, this suite blends earthy natural materials with a calm, elevated atmosphere.

Inside, the living area offers comfortable seating, boho-inspired décor, and a Smart TV—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Large glass doors open to a private balcony where you can enjoy the island breeze and views of the surrounding greenery. The full kitchen and dining space make it easy to prepare meals or enjoy takeout from nearby cafés.

Both bedrooms are bright, spacious, and designed for restful sleep, each featuring a queen bed, natural wood accents, blackout curtains, and large mirrored closets. There is a queen sized blowup mattress that can be placed in primary bedroom, bringing the total sleep count up to 6. The bathroom is clean and functional, stocked with fresh towels and complimentary toiletries.

As a guest of Casa Island Life, you’ll have access to several shared outdoor spaces—including a tropical dining patio and a massive rooftop terrace with panoramic ocean and city views. It’s the perfect spot for sunrise coffee, sunset cocktails, or lounging under the stars.

Located just one block from the ocean and within walking distance to Ocean Park Beach, and many more local favorites, Bamboo Breeze puts you in the heart of one of San Juan’s most vibrant and beachside neighborhoods.

Guest access

The guests will have access to the entire apartment, as well as the outdoor dining area and the rooftop. 

📍The property is located in a gated community. Simply tell the gate guard the address you are visiting, and they will let you through. 

🚗 This property is located in the heart of San Juan. It is very centrally located, making it easy to use ride share apps, or taxis to get around. 

Other things to note

📌 Early Check in and late Check out are subject to availability. An additional fee of $25/hour will be applied if it can be accommodated. Our cleaning and management team work very hard to ensure a quality experience, so we appreciate your understanding.

📌 Please note that this is not a hotel or resort, but a private residence. Amenity refills/additional cleanings will not be available unless specifically arranged prior to booking. This will be at additional cost and based on availability.

🇵🇷 Puerto Rico is a tropical island, and its infrastructure is not like the United States. 

⚡Power and water outages happen on occasion, though its rare for outages to last more than a couple hours.

🔋This property has a backup cistern that can last up to a couple days, but we are not in control of any outages, and cannot offer refunds due to outages. Also, wildlife such as lizards and bugs are common throughout the island, especially after a rain or during rainy season.

📌 We take preventative measures to reduce the likelihood of encountering these critters. However, if you come across one, it is not out of the realm of possibility, and we cannot offer refunds due to this. The best way to prevent these critters is to properly store away food and dispose of trash.
